Creating More Neighborly Days
Won't You Be My Neighbor? Day
“Imagine what our real neighborhoods would be like, if each of us offered as a matter of course, just one kind word to another person...
One kind word has a wonderful way of
turning into many.”

Every March 20, America celebrates Won’t You Be My Neighbor? Day commemorating Fred Rogers and his legacy of neighborliness on his birthday. Neighbors everywhere are encouraged to wear his or her favorite sweater and promote neighborliness in their neighborhood. We’re glad to be your neighbor! Visit www.fci.org/neighbor for more information.
