Wear a Sweater!

Do something neighborly!

This month we’ll be celebrating our fourth annual Won’t You Be My Neighbor Day, remembering Fred Rogers on his birthday, March 20. We hope you’ll join us in wearing a sweater and doing something neighborly!

Won’t You Be My Neighbor? Day is an annual event to celebrate Fred Rogers and his legacy of neighborliness. Neighbors everywhere are encouraged to wear a favorite sweater and promote neighborliness in their neighborhood.

Here in Pittsburgh, we’re partnering again this year with the United Way of Allegheny County who will be honoring their volunteers with the "Fred Rogers Good Neighbor Award" and launching a volunteer recruitment campaign.

And our friends at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh will be celebrating Fred with
Mister Rogers Day on March 20th offering free admission to children.

Won’t You Be My Neighbor? Day gives us here at The Fred Rogers Company the opportunity to say ”Thank you” to you --  our neighbors near and far -- for your ongoing  support of our work as we advance and extend Fred Rogers’ values to a new generation of children, parents and professionals.
