The Fred Rogers Company strives to build on Fred Rogers’ legacy by creating quality children’s media that models an enthusiasm for learning and earns the trust of parents and caregivers.
The Fred Rogers Company has emerged as an innovative, top producer of educational children’s media, introducing three programs through PBS KIDS—Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Peg + Cat and Odd Squad— for children 2-8 years-old since 2012.
Independent research demonstrates that each of our programs measurably improves a child’s social and emotional abilities as well as their school-readiness skills. At the same time, the programs consistently rank among the most popular in children’s media, not only on broadcast television but also when viewed online and on mobile streaming video. Our mobile apps and digital games engage children with educational content both at home and on the go. In this ever-changing media landscape, we constantly endeavor to fulfill our mission of reaching and positively impacting the lives of millions of children and families.
To achieve this mission, The Fred Rogers Company works with some of the best talent and partners in the industry, including:
- Angela Santomero at Out of the Blue Enterprises (Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood)
- JJ Johnson at Sinking Ship Entertainment (Odd Squad)
- Vince Commisso and the team at 9Story Media Group (Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Peg + Cat)
- Jesse Schell at Schell Games (Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood)
- Show creators Jennifer Oxley & Billy Aronson (Peg + Cat) and
Tim McKeon & Adam Peltzman (Odd Squad)
Looking forward, our goal is to keep producing new children’s media and technology that will continue to nurture children and families while involving a growing number of creative partners who are inspired by the legacy of our founder, Fred Rogers.
